How To Root And Port TWRP On Tecno Boom J8

As majority of us know, Tecno released a new phone called Tecno Boom J8; a very powerful phone with great specs, hence i decided to write a tutorial on how to root and port TWRP on Tecno Boom J8 but first lets take a look
at a brief specifications of this wonderful device.

The Tecno Boom J8 comes with a 5.5inch IPS screen, 2GB Ram and 16GB internal memory, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera.

How to Root the Tecno Boom J8

Well, rooting this beauty does not cost much, all it requires from you is an easy to get application.

First of all, download and install kingroot 4.8.apk

Launch the app and tap the blue button at the buttom to start the rooting process.

Make sure you have a very strong network then you can wait for the percentage to finish counting so as to get the success message

Reboot your device and you should see a new app called "kinguser" which happens to be proof that your device has been rooted. but if you are still not convinced, you can download and install "root checker" from playstore then launch the app to confirm you have been given root access.
