What is Rooting
Rooting an android device means obtaining superuser rights and permissions to your Android OS. With these increased user privileges, you gain the ability to load cu
stom roms, install custom themes, increase phone performance, increase battery life, and the ability to install softwares that would otherwise not work on non-rooted phones. Simply put, rooting is just means hacking your Android device. In the iPhone world, this is called Jailbreaking your phone.

Disclaimer
Roting or modifying your android device voids your manufacturer’s warranty and would possibly brick it. I don't in any way recommend anyone to root their device, but if you must do always ensure to have a backup first before before going ahead. I would not be held responsible if you in anyway brick your android device.
