Since the past few weeks, MTN has been giving their customers the power to make calls for just either #40 daily or #150/#200 weekly and that's waht i have been using ever since. I make calls as if i am the owner of MTN. I guess you would want to try this out too. Well, no too much talks...
TO ACTIVATE
1) Simply dial *142# on your MTN line. If you are not eligible, you will receive a message like "Dear Customer, Thank you for..." while if you are eligible you will receive a message like this "Pay #40 to... "
*If you are not eligible, then there are no two ways about it. You just have to wait for another MTN offer. But if you are eligible then this tutorial is meant for you and I will happily encourage you to proceed with this tutorial.
2) Load #200 recharge card and dial the USSD code again. You will see that successful screen again i.e the one with two options asking you to pay #40 (daily) or #150/#200 (weekly). Select option 2 since it's the most preferable.
NOTE:You might be charged either #150/#200 for weekly subscription and that's why I said you should recharge with #200 worth of airtime because they won't charge nothing less than #150 or higher than #200. I was charged #150 though.
4) Now you can make free calls on your MTN line for 7 days (1 week) but i must not forget to mention that it works only for MTN-MTN Calls.
